Athletics 8, Nationals 4Braggo Roth belted two triples and a double to key a Philadelphia attack that jumped on Harry Harper for four runs in the 1st and then tacked on late after the Nationals had rallied to within a run. The A's had four triples in total, while Washington turned four double plays. Cy Perkins drew three bases on balls, and Hal Janvrin reached base three times. [box]
